A bold introduction to the world of critical thinking, the liberal arts survey course is one of the capstones of the summer term curriculum. Designed to challenge scholars’ assumptions about themselves, their societies, and how they even come to know or understand their world, the liberal arts curriculum – led by a visiting professor from Temple University – surveys topics from gender studies to feminism, social psychology to moral philosophy, and The Islamic Golden Age to media studies.  The classes are focused on encouraging deep reflection and are primarily discussion based.
